Characterized as a deep cover Monsanto “mole” who worked inside the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Jesudoss “Jess” Rowland has helped Monsanto Co. suppress suspicions about how Roundup weed killer is causing cancer in humans. The former EPA Deputy left his post last year as the pesticide division’s manager after serving as the central figure in nearly two dozen lawsuits that accused Monsanto of failing to warn consumers and regulators alike that the glyphosate-based carcinogenic herbicide causes non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, among other disastrous health conditions. Rowland served in 2015 as the General Natural Resources Manager and Biological Scientist at the EPA out of Arlington, Virginia, and worked there at least as far back as 2004, as records indicate. Rowland was paid at a GS-15 level, which is among the highest paid ten percent of employees in the EPA. (1)
White House records taken during the Obama Administration reign show Jesudoss Rowland visited the White House with a group totaling 320 (4) people in early September of 2015 and came back for a second visit with 275 people later that month for an “East Wing Tour.” Many environmentalists and health enthusiasts are well aware that Obama was “in bed” with Monsanto, as well as Hillary Clinton, who both took handsome Monsanto lobbyist payments towards their campaigns so they would push legislation that favors the “evil” seed and pesticide monster company, that’s now owned by Bayer.
In March of 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a subsidiary branch of the World Health Organization (WHO), published a summary of studies on the dangers of Glyphosate. WHO has revealed in-depth research exposing Glyphosate as “probably carcinogenic in humans” based on epidemiological studies, animal studies and in vitro studies. Laboratory studies dating as far back as 1991 reveal that Glyphosate can harm beneficial insects and earthworms. (2)
Glyphosate is exponentially more toxic when combined with other “inert” chemical and carcinogenic ingredients in Roundup. It can also harm the bacterial ecology of soil and cause micronutrient deficiencies in plants, which explains much of the immuno-deficiencies in Americans who consume GM corn and soy regularly.
Federal Judge inclined to order Rowland to submit to questioning in lawsuits for his highly suspicious relationship with Monsanto
Rowland chaired a committee that of course found “insufficient evidence” to declare glyphosate carcinogenic, but then the Monsanto mole bailed on his job just days after the report was leaked to the press. U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria said at a San Francisco hearing that,
My reaction is when you consider the relevance of the EPA’s reports, and you consider their relevance to this litigation, it seems appropriate to take Jess Rowland’s deposition.
Rowland is a Monsanto shill and chemical pesticide apologist
Nearly everyone promoting glyphosate and Roundup know that it is toxic to the environment, insects, bees, farm animals and humans alike. Glyphosate is an acid molecule and the active ingredient in the world’s most utilized herbicide that was intentionally created to kill weeds that compete with commercial crops such as corn and soy.
Back in 1970, one of Monsanto’s chemists, John E. Franz, manufactured this highly controversial, probable carcinogenic and marketed it under the trade name Roundup. Glyphosate-resistant crops have the chemical compound inside them, and the intention was for farmers to be able to spray the crops with more weed-killer without killing the edible plants, but this trait is failing miserably across the globe, causing health detriment, soil nutrient depletion and environmental disturbances that go unreported by the mainstream media.
Nearly 200 million pounds are dumped on American soil each year, including the agricultural sector, home gardens and yards. Over the past couple decades, weed resistance has become a major problem as “Superweeds” have become immune to Roundup and are destroying the yield once thought to be improving by this biotechnology, though Monsanto and their advocates, like Jess Rowland, would have the public, farmers and health organizations believe otherwise to protect their investments, sales and profits.
Hundreds of tests and independent, reliable studies have been conducted that expose Glyphosate as a major threat to human health
Glyphosate is toxic to humans, but since the FDA and EPA rely solely on safety tests done by the manufacturer and their inside shills, no regulations are put in place to protect humans, animals or the environment from this known cancer-causing weed killer. (10) The chemical is absorbed throughout foliage and even seeps into roots. Glyphosate is also used as a drying agent that is sprayed on crops heavily, such as wheat and sugarcane, just before harvesting for storage in silos.
The term “Roundup Ready” means the crop’s seeds are genetically engineered to contain the toxic and deadly herbicide. Scientific correlations have also been made between Glyphosate and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). The increased risk of farmers contacting NHL has been identified in farm workers using Roundup as recently as 2014.
“While we empathize with anyone facing these terrible illnesses, there is no evidence that glyphosate is the cause,” Scott Partridge, Monsanto’s Vice President of Global Strategy, said in a statement. Of course, this is a bold-faced lie. In fact, plaintiffs involved in the litigation against Rowland are providing documents that show Rowland was breaking ethics and rules at the EPA to benefit Monsanto’s business.
EPA–Monsanto collusion completely exposed by EPA insiders blowing the whistle
Monsanto communications that were intercepted reveal internally the company was pushing to publish Rowland’s report (Cancer Assessment) on glyphosate in order to “preempt other potential actions or inquiries about the dangers of glyphosate,” – this all according to the court filing.
Rowland has been served a subpoena to testify in the lawsuits over cancer cases allegedly caused by glyphosate (Roundup Products Liability Litigation, MDL 2741, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California (San Francisco).
Anna Lowit, who still works for the EPA, is engaged in science intimidation tactics to force other EPA scientists to help Monsanto lie about their toxic products
Dr. Marion Copley has also accused Anna Lowit, a scientist still working inside the EPA, of colluding with Monsanto and pressuring other EPA scientists and bureaucrats to side with Monsanto. Copley accuses Lowit, along with Rowland, of coercion tactics here:
You and Anna Lowit intimidated staff on CARC and changed MI ARC and IIASPOC final reports to favor industry. (8)
Copley warns the public that many EPA scientists are bribed by Monsanto and accepting industry funding, which is a major conflict of interest. She says these same scientists’ decisions no longer make rational sense. No wonder. Copley calls the Monsanto siege of chemical agriculture a “toxic chemical holocaust” being pushed on Americans by Monsanto and a “criminal EPA.” Dr. Copley herself is died of cancer and didn’t want to see these serious issues go unaddressed before she died. That’s one major reason she blew the whistle on the whole EPA-Monsanto collusion. (6)
Here are some excerpts from her letter that blew the whistle on the EPA–Monsanto collusion to poison Americans and our agriculture:
Since I left the Agency with cancer, I have studied the tumor process extensively and I have some mechanism comments which may be very valuable to CARC based on my decades of pathology experience. I’ll pick one chemical to demonstrate my points.
Glyphosate was originally designed as a chelating agent and 1 strongly believe that is the identical process involved in its tumor formation, which is highly supported by the literature.
The deposition of Jess Rowland compelled in US (Northern) District Court of California
Private citizen Jess Rowland, who formerly served as Monsanto’s chief “friend” within the EPA, has been compelled for deposition (9) relating to EPA documents that bear Mr. Rowland’s signature regarding the so-called “safety” of glyphosate. Rowland mysteriously left the EPA just days after supporting Monsanto’s top selling product. The subpoena addresses Mr. Rowland’s relationship with Monsanto and EPA’s substantial role in protecting the defendant’s business. It is all classified as highly suspicious. (7)
Monsanto repeatedly emphasizes the emergent need for the EPA Office of Pesticide Programs, of which Rowland was in charge, to release reports he authored defending the alleged safety of glyphosate for human consumption. The report cites in-person meetings between Jess Rowland and Monsanto employees and text messages showing Rowland breaking EPA rules and ethics to benefit Monsanto’s interests.
Dr. Marion Copley’s dying declaration names over a dozen effects of glyphosate known to EPA–all linked to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma risk
The increase in lymphoma risk can be tied to Monsanto’s glyphosate in multiple ways, as named in Dr. Copley’s dying declaration/letter dated March 24, 2013. Dr. Copley notes that glyphosate was previously classified by the EPA as a “possible human carcinogen.” Copley died of cancer one year before the IARC declared the same about glyphosate, that it most likely is causing cancer in humans. Dr. Copley accuses Ms. Lowit in her letter of being highly likely of taking bribes and getting “bonus” from Monsanto. Dr. Copley describes many ways glyphosate is contributing to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma:
Since I left the Agency with cancer, I have studied the tumor process extensively and I have some mechanism comments which may be very valuable to CARC based on my decades of pathology experience. I’ll pick one chemical to demonstrate my points. Glyphosate was originally designed as a chelating agent and 1 strongly believe that is the identical process involved in its tumor formation, which is highly supported by the literature. (3)
-Chelators inhibit apoptosis, the process by which our bodies kill tumor cells
-Chelators are endocrine disruptors, involved in tumorigenesis
-Glyphosate induces lymphocyte proliferation
-Glyphosate induces free radical formation
-Chelators inhibit free radical scavenging enzymes requiring Zn, Mn or Cu for activity (i.e. SODs)
-Chelators bind zinc, necessary for immune system function
-Glyphosate is genotoxic, a key cancer mechanism
-Chelators inhibit DNA repair enzymes requiring metal cofactors
-Chelators bind Ca, Zn, Mg, etc to make foods deficient for these essential nutrients
-Chelators bind calcium necessary for calcineurin-mediated immune response
-Chelators often damage the kidneys or pancreas, as glyphosate does, a mechanism to tumor formation
-Kidney/pancreas damage can lead to clinical chemistry changes to favor tumor growth
-Glyphosate kills bacteria in the gut and the gastrointestinal system is 80% of the immune system
-Chelators suppress the immune system making the body susceptible to tumors
Chairman of the House Science Committee demands 4 EPA officials re-look at their haphazard dismissal of herbicide glyphosate’s cancer risk
In June of 2016, the chairman of the House Science Committee asked U.S. EPA to make four officials available for interviews (5) about the agency’s review of the herbicide glyphosate’s cancer risk. On top of that, the following letter from EPA scientist Marion Copley (who died of cancer) has surfaced in the unsealed court documents originally uncovered by U.S. Right to Know. These documents and full coverage of the review can be read at Glyphosate.news, NaturalNews.com and the original PDF at USRTK website.
One EPA scientist, Marion Copley, literally begs the Monsanto mole Rowland to do his job and protect the public rather than selling out to Monsanto and their profit interests. Copley states in a letter to Rowland: ”
For once in your life, listen to me and don’t play your political conniving games with the science to favor the registrants. For once do the right thing and don’t make decisions based on how it affects your bonus.
