    aka “ORAC” blogging icon/gravatar

Vaccine industry front man, spokesperson and ultimate apologist for the blogosphere, David H. Gorski, a.k.a. (pen name) ORAC, leads the pack in his efforts to obscure the vaccine-autism connection, promoting mercury in vaccines and calling everybody a skeptic who doesn’t bow down to chemical medicine. Since 2004, his blog title reads “Respectful Insolence” –which is an oxymoron meaning showing respect for people who show no respect for people, and this falls in line with the way he treats parents of vaccine-damaged children and the adults who have lived their whole lives with autism spectrum disorder, central nervous system disorders, immune-disorders and communication breakdowns in the brain. Gorski admits there are no facts on his blog, yet everything is in the name of “science-based medicine” or “evidence-based medicine,” which is supposed to be based on strict protocol of research, synthesis of information and publishing factual, real and reliable results. Gorski has been accused (Published May of 2012 by the “Refusers”) of fraudulently impersonating disease-injured families and making insane comments on message boards and vaccine freedom websites like Age of Autism, Mothering Magazine and even on Amazon forums. This is called pro-vax trolling and it’s an abomination.

“Karmanos cancer surgeon Dr. David Gorski linked to ‘skeptics’ kingpin James Randi caught on tape soliciting bl*w job from young man – source”

Gorski is far out-of-bounds with his pseudo-scientific religion and the INSANE rants that further damage the conversations, concerns and legitimate investigations going on to further prove that the chemicals and toxic adjuvants in vaccines are causing diseases and disorders rather than preventing them. ORAC is obviously a paid shill of the powerful vaccine industry and he is a vaccine fanatic who intimidates anyone discussing the dangers of too many vaccines too close together, and those on social media sites bringing awareness to the FACT that CDC head scientists have blown the whistle already on the MMR vaccine being so toxic to babies that it IS linked to autism, especially for African American boys under age three, but this valid research was covered up by other scientists at the CDC, and it’s the job of slugs like ORAC to keep people in the dark about all of it. Gorski “trolls” the internet blasting people’s conversations with insane rants. These vaccine and biotech shills alike set up phony email accounts and IDs that can’t be traced back to the source. Unfortunately for ORAC, he’s so “all over the place” that he’s been caught talking about his insidious motives and method of operation (M.O.) many, many times. (1)

As the Health Ranger and Editor of Natural News recently described the slick, sneaky and insidious Gorski:

“Wikipedia discredits itself by granting Gorski editorial control”

“As far as David Gorski goes, he seems wholly incapable of writing even a single paragraph without engaging in the deliberate, fraudulent misrepresentation of the facts. That he has managed to wrangle so much editorial control over Wikipedia is perhaps the most damning indictment yet seen about the editorial power structure at the online encyclopedia, where in some topic areas (such as vaccines and GMOs), the most psychopathic muckrakers seem to consistently rise to the top.”

The Health Ranger explains how Wikipedia is vandalized by psychopathic vaccine and pharma fanatics every time an important topic comes up regarding breaking news on natural health or some major chemical medicine racket gets exposed: ”As a result, on certain topics, Wikipedia has become little more than a reflection of the derangement and mental illness that has infested the minds of its most powerful admins. While there are a great many dedicated and honest editors at Wikipedia, they do not possess the power craving and twisted fanaticism of people like David Gorski. It’s much the same in the political world, where the most insane criminal minds seem to rise to the top in almost every election (including the one we’re all enduring right now, come to think of it).”

Gorski “shoots himself in the foot” – actually recruiting holistic health advocacy by being so bad at what he does…

“In effect, David Gorski is perhaps the most inadvertently effective recruiter for holistic health advocacy on the ‘net. One look at his pathological mind and intense hatred for humanity gives a clear signal to most people: ‘I don’t want anything to do with THAT group!’” – The Health Ranger

Natural News coverage sums up the internet troll ORAC and chemo-huckster Dr. “Kevorkian” Gorski of the Karmanos Cancer Institute:

”Ironically, when the Berlin Wall of vaccine denialism finally does crumble and shatter, it’s going to be people like David Gorski who we have to thank for accelerating the deranged demise of the “skeptics” who overstayed their welcome in society. Dr. Gorski has, in effect, already achieved a milestone in the history of medicine… the same kind of milestone we now point to when citing the insanity of doctors who have gone mad like Dr. Henry Cotton or Dr. Farid Fata.”

Dr. Gorski’s Blog Insanity as “ORAC” the Science Shill

Dr. Farid Fata is serving 45 years in prison – – he gave patients chemotherapy who didn’t have cancer and he gave them extra strong doses–he called it the “European Protocol,” except there IS NO European Protocol. He made it up. It was his nick name for lethal doses of chemotherapy that were randomly administered whenever he said the words to his healthy patients, “European Protocol.” http://www.truthwiki.org/dr-farid-fata/ David Gorski was Fata’s cohort and colleague. Big question follows:

Is Gorski “ORAC” as insane as his colleague, Dr. Farid Fata?

Here are some of the insane rants from a supposedly reliable oncologist, who is spewing hate, arrogance and ignorance around the internet, and at his quack-buster “seminars.”

Gorski even reveals his own conflicts of interest and tells people on line that he is a outright liar (his alter-ego ORAC), and a shill for pharma. He engages in scare tactics on other forums to push his warped theories and ruin responsible discussions about the dangers of vaccines, chemotherapy or GM foods.

Directly from his sidebar “insolent disclaimer” (per this date and post) Orac writes:

“If the reader freely chooses to follow the opinion of a pseudonymous blogger like the author (who has also not done a proper history or physical examination and whose credentials cannot be verified) over that of his or her own personal physician, it is the reader’s decision alone, for which the reader must bear full responsibility.”

    February, 2006 and earlier:

The following blog excerpts are from ORAC’s archived blogs – a site before he shifted over to ScienceBlogs.com/insolence: http://scienceblogs.com/insolence/

Orac (from Blogspot) is dead! Long live Orac at ScienceBlogs!”

    May, 2005:

“fundamentalist opposition to vaccination is rooted in their disapproval of the behavior that leads to the disease being vaccinated against”

    November 30, 2009:

“A couple of years ago, fellow ScienceBlogger Mark Hoofnagle over at Denialism Blog coined a most excellent term to describe all manners of pseuodscience, quackery, and crankery. The term, “crank magnetism,” describes the tendency of cranks not to mind it when they see crankery in others.”

Comment posted re: use of term “most excellent”: “How old is this person, 14, 16? Is this someone’s oncologist who is operating on their body to help with cancer? This guy is a nut job.”

    More from ORAC:

“Yes! No crank argument is truly complete without an invocation of the Galileo gambit, although the invocation of the logical fallacy of argumentum ad populum is a nice touch that many cranks like. Of course, the “vindication of all kooks” corollary to crank magnetism doesn’t just apply to evolution denialists intersecting with AGW denialists.”

And what is his conclusion to a 3,600-word lunatic rant? The oncologist synthesizes it all for his followers and haters alike:

“In the end, much like the principle of crank magnetism and how it results from an inability to recognize flaws in reasoning or bad science, the corollary of the “vindication of all kooks” if one kook appears to be vindicated derives from a profoundly anti-scientific world view in which the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and if my friend prospers so do I. The problem is that the enemy in this case is science itself.”

“Remember Vox Day? Newer converts to the glory that is Orac (or at least to the ego that is Orac) might not know who Vox is because it’s been a while since I’ve discussed his antiscience attitudes.”

“By and large, this is probably a good thing, given that Vox denies evolution, has been antivaccine from way back, and apparently thinks nothing of suggesting that the U.S. emulate Hitler’s methods of ejecting Jews from Germany to take care of our illegal immigrant problem.”

“I’m now in good company, with people I admire, like Paul Offit and Kevin Folta, whom Adams similarly slimed.”

Nov 11, 2015: Various posts by ORAC:

    “I’m a pretty piss-poor pharma whore.”

“I’m a Pharma Funded Shill, supported by National Geographic.”

“I love the persona of Orac and being known by the name of a supercomputer featured on an obscure (in this country) British science fiction show popular over 30 years ago.”

“You know, at this point, I’m tempted to stand up, puff out my chest, put on my bravest, most serious face, and declare, “I am Spartacus!”

Gorski has a very long history of self-aggrandizement by dishing out what he calls his “dose of my characteristic and inimitable not-so-Respectful Insolence” and … this is “public character assassination to entertain the skeptic community.”

Dial it back to May, 2008: From his psycho beginnings as “The Worldwide Wanker of Woo” http://www.whale.to/vaccine/orac.html

“… the real way to glory in science is to shoot down an accepted hypothesis and replace it with one of your own.”

“As far as I’ve yet been able to ascertain, I’m the only academic surgeon with R01 funding in the world with an active — and, even more shockingly, even a somewhat popular — blog.”

He frequently speaks in third person pseudonym:

“You don’t tug on Superman’s cape You don’t spit into the wind You don’t pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger And you don’t mess around with Orac”

Warning: this self-description is written by a surgical (breast cancer) oncologist:

“Orac is the nom de blog of a humble surgeon/scientist who has an ego just big enough to delude himself that someone, somewhere might actually give a rodent’s posterior about his copious verbal meanderings, but just barely small enough to admit to himself that few probably will. That surgeon is otherwise known as David Gorski. That Orac has chosen his nom de blog based on a rather cranky and arrogant computer shaped like a clear box of blinking lights that he originally encountered when he became a fan of a 30 year old British SF television show whose special effects were renowned for their BBC/Doctor Who-style low budget look, but whose stories nonetheless resulted in some of the best, most innovative science fiction ever televised, should tell you nearly all that you need to know about Orac.”

What is ORAC? Could it be a British sci-fi computer, a blogger, an insane oncologist, the manufactured term for antioxidant capacity in food, or just an oncology racket misdiagnosing and overdosing innocent, healthy people with chemotherapy and radiation treatments until they die? Take a closer look at this psychopath practicing medicine right now: (o.r.a.c.–oncology racket for aggressive cancer) aka European Protocol. Aka respectful insolence. Aka scienceblogs. Aka the “Lone Ranger.” (insert Star trek, Walking Dead and Superman fanatic also).

April, 2012: Gorski trolls the internet, impersonating disease-injured families on comment boards.

Through his pro-vaccination website “Respectful Insolence,” Gorski clearly advocates fraudulently impersonating disease-injured families, using fraudulent emails and fake IDs so these comments can’t be tracked or traced, and making insane comments in the middle of other people’s intelligent conversations to ruin the line of questioning and sell people back to taking all chemical medications without ever questioning the allopathic status quo again.

Here Gorski’s alter ego “ORAC” is caught red-handed becoming insidious and plotting psychopathic, hurtful and hateful tricks on line:

ORAC Respectful Insolence April 20, 2012:

April 20, 8:54 pm – ‘Use emotional warfare on anti-vax blogs. Tell emotional stories full of tears and sobbing and unbearable grief and terror, about people in your own family or people you read about, who were sick with or died of terrible diseases. Don’t hold back details about bodily fluids and suchlike: the more gross the better. This stuff has a way of infiltrating the minds of readers and subtly influencing their decisions, in a manner similar to advertising.’

‘Go in there and “agree with them” and then say things that appear thoroughly delusional, overtly nuts, blatantly and obviously wrong even to nincompoops, etc. Occasional spelling and grammar errors are also useful but don’t over-do. The point of this exercise is to create an impression that drives away undecideds who may come in to check out these sites. It helps to do this as a group effort and begin gradually, so the sites appear to be “going downhill slowly.”‘

‘But it is useful to have an email address that can’t be traced back, for certain legitimate and ethical uses, just as it is useful to have a mail box at say the UPS store.’

Later on in his explanation of deceit and betrayal he writes:

“The way to fight it is by sabotaging the anti-vaxers with crazy stuff that drives away undecideds. The way to fight it is with emotional narratives that undermine the ones that the anti-vaxers are pushing.”

Here’s more that coincides with Gorski’s M.O. and fraud on the internet – Here’s a response to ORAC’s rant:

“… So we should sneak into the anti-vax blogs and compare vaccines to the 9/11 attacks, complete with lots of weeping & wailing to make it “interesting.” And of course lots of embedded 9/11 CT, for example, “Just as Dick Cheney piloted those planes into the WTC by remote control, vaccine-pushers pilot their deadly shots into our children!” That kind of stuff also drives away undecideds. …”

ORAC Respectful Insolence collaborators from April, 2012:

G724-April 25, 4:08 am – Poe2go @ 12 is right on target: post that kind of schizophrenic word-salad on the anti-vax sites in large quantities, under various pseudonyms, and clog up the sites with it until it appears that a large fraction of the members are downright wacko. This will seriously turn off undecideds who check out those sites. Poe2go’s comment is an excellent template for this tactic, but you can easily make up your own by inserting random words into sentences and then going on digressive riffs about the random words. Be sure to Capitalize occasional Nouns and Verbs as well.

Really: listen up folks, the way to fight this crap is NOT by “patiently explaining” to people who are already way past being persuaded that the Earth isn’t flat. You may as well be talking to rocks (healing crystals?:-). The way to fight it is by sabotaging the anti-vaxers with crazy stuff that drives away undecideds. The way to fight it is with emotional narratives that undermine the ones that the anti-vaxers are pushing.

Here’s another collaborator responding to ORAC’s advice and insane strategies:

Denise @ 76: The way to do it is to set up a fictitious email address. Speaking from experience working on research on extremist groups: Start by setting one up on your existing broadband provider: AT&T, Comcast, and the rest of ‘em give you five or more email addresses of your choice. Create a totally fictitious name and then an address that reflects that name e.g. John Doe and JDoe1234@.

Next, get an address on a free service provider such as Yahoo or Hotmail or whatever. Since most of these ask for your “other” email address as proof of identity, give them the one on your broadband provider. They will send a confirmation email to that address giving you your starting password. Third, after about a week of using your new fictitious address in various places that let you sign up for comments, you can be sure it’s working, so then go in and delete the address you created on your broadband service. Typically they deactivate the address immediately and then take a month to free up that slot for re-use. This step ensures that your Yahoo or Hotmail address becomes un-traceable back to your broadband provider. Fourth, wait a month for the original fictitious name to completely purge from your broadband provider.Fifth: Now you’re home free to get onto the anti-vax boards and any other objectionable boards you want to go after, and make all manner of noise to make them look ridiculous and drive away the undecideds. Yeee-hawww, round ‘em up!

Here’s a normal person who finds the discussion and defines Gorski as sociopathic: May 28, 2012 at 9:50 am:

“Orac is an evil pig. Has anyone thought of setting up a paypal fund for the purpose of placing billboards around his city, preferably near his place of work, using his own words from his blog? Show his colleagues and fellow “researchers” what a megalomaniacal sociopath he is. Not like they don’t already know. Imagine working with that animal.”

ORAC wrote this on his own blog, describing himself so nobody would call him out, possibly knowing the day would come:

“Yes, in the case of a true ‘shill’ who does not reveal that he works for a pharmaceutical company and pretends to be ‘objective,’ …”

2013 “Quackademic Medicine” lecture: Gorski hosts a lecture called “Quackademic Medicine” at the National Science Foundation (Arlington County, VA). During question and answer somebody asked him why he defends food derived from Genetically-Modified Organisms (GMOs), noting the lack of safety data in humans.

    Gorski’s answer:

    “All foods are genetically modified.”

By the way, Gorski received 30,000-euro grant directly from Bayer – a pharmaceutical company that not only uses thimerosal in its Rh-immunoglobulins, but also produces GMO seeds.

June 2013: as posted by ORAC regarding an article published on Salon.com recalling an account by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. of the link between thimerosal in vaccines and autism that is an indictment of the government and pharmaceutical companies:

ORAC: “Salon.com has just plopped down on the web the biggest, steamingest, drippiest turd I’ve ever seen it publish …”

As reported by Child Health Safety:

“It is a serious matter when a medical doctor abuses the trusted status of a licensed medical professional to abuse bully disparage and attack others. It is worse when he uses that status and trusted position to lie about published medical research to make false claims intended to mislead and actively spread deliberate misinformation about medical knowledge whilst doing so to make false claims about others.  It is even worse when he does it so publicly and routinely, publishing to mislead people worldwide and on a daily basis on the internet.”

So what are the implications of Gorski’s cyber bullying and lying under the requirements to be met by a licensed medical practitioner in the State of Michigan?”

    September, 2015: Posted by ORAC:

“That’s the beauty of the conspiracy. Anyone can be part of it.”

Oct 20, 2015: Posted by ORAC:

He calls the CDC whistle-blower situation with Dr. William Thompson a “manufactured scandal” and jokes about how black lives don’t matter:

“As I joked the very first time this whole “CDC whistleblower” nonsense popped up, it’s amazing how the very study being touted by antivaccinationists as having been altered to cover up this, even if taken as represented by antivaccine activist Brian Hooker’s “reanalysis,” proves Andrew Wakefield wrong, as it showed not a whiff of a hint of a whisper of a correlation between MMR and autism in any subgroup other than African-American males.”

Wikipedia propagates Western Medicine shills and hucksters

Still, in its unfettered attempt to push Western quack medicine and experimental allopathic-chemical-based medicine, Wikipedia pushes the name Gorski as if he’s some sort of icon who responsibly touts evidence-based medicine, cancer research and the safety of vaccines. Gorski, who is a surgical oncologist and professor of surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine, specializes in breast cancer surgery. A major critic of all alternative medicine, Dr. Gorski pushes radiation as the best “anti-cancer” treatment in the world. Slash and burn, slash and burn – that’s the American way to “treat” a blood and cell disorder that spreads to other parts of the body. Gorski is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology that also pushes invasive surgery and toxic conventional treatments for cancer, as do the ACS (American Cancer Society), NCI (National Cancer Institute) and Susan Komen Foundation (pink-washing campaign). (2) Gorski also blogs at the biotech front website called Science-Based Medicine where he is a managing editor, posting more propaganda about pseudo-science and blasting alternative therapies to cancer that actually work.

Reviews online of the infamous Gorski at “Vitals” are scary:

Oct 13th, 2014: “I felt like I was in the way. As if this doctor didn’t want to see me as a patient. As if my health problems aren’t difficult enough without an uninvolved, not helpful doctor. Ugh. I am going to see someone else next time. “

Oct 11th, 2012: “This man is horribly arrogant and was extremely unprofessional. His bedside manor leaves much to be desired, and I got the impression that he’d rather I shoot myself than to interrupt his busy day of blogging.”

Aug 10th, 2011: “Arrogant with no compassion.”

The 60-year-long myth that vaccines are “safe and effective”

CDC lead, senior scientist Dr. William Thompson admits and confesses to major CDC covered-up research from 2004 showing MMR vaccine leads to autism, especially in black boys under age three. This news was covered extensively by Alternative Media and Natural Health News. (4) The outright connection is made between autism (ASD) and the neurotoxic mercury-based vaccine preservative thimerosal used in many of today’s vaccines.

Watch the videoHow Mercury Triggered the Age of Autism” here. (5)

The CDC runs off an administrative system that was designed to track enrollment and fiscal data for vaccine compliance–it doesn’t even measure the occurrence of developmental disabilities like autism for the population. The CDC is a business and it is run to support vaccine profits, not deter people from injecting carcinogens and toxic heavy metals into their blood and muscle. The CDC is a for-profit corporation listed on Dun and Bradstreet. (6)

In fact, Gorski helps develop NEW uses for current drugs, and Big Pharma likes that because it’s very profitable for them, not having to start from scratch, in other words. Gorski has reasonable expectation to receive money from the vaccine manafacturers, much like the case of the Paul Offit/Merck scandal. Gorski’s invention-spin-offs eliminate many of the costs of developing a new substance from scratch, thereby maximizing profits for the drug and vaccine pushers. Gorski took an autism drug and called it a possible treatment for breast cancer, as noted right here:

“Three years ago in another cancer (melanoma), Dr. Gorski’s collaborators found that glutamate might have a role in promoting the transformation of the pigmented cells in the skin (melanocytes) into the deadly skin cancer melanoma. More importantly for therapy, it was found that this protein can be blocked with drugs, and, specifically, in melanoma cell lines and tumor models of melanoma using a drug originally designed to treat ALS and already FDA-approved for that indication (Riluzole) can inhibit the growth of melanoma.”

Sanofi-Aventis owns 2nd largest vaccine manufacturer in the world that “partners” with Wayne State University – Gorski’s alma mater

Sanofi-Pasteur, the vaccine manufacturer in question, puts mercury in several of their inoculations including MMR vaccines. Their first MMR version, Immravax, was banned for causing viral meningitis in children. This must be why Gorski denies taking money from vaccine manufacturers directly, except that his college does, and still it’s true that David Gorski, the psycho-blogger, carries out clinical trials for the company and its drug Riluzole. According to Sanofi-Aventis website they’ve “entered into various other collaboration agreements with partners …” and there they list Wayne State University and describe the CONTINGENT PAYMENTS (exceeding a million dollars) over the next five years. This is not some side project–turns out it is one of two MAJOR Gorski lab interests. Top it off with the fact that Gorski has a patent listed in his name for which he admits receiving drug company money. Still, Gorski lives in denial.

Ongoing Controversies Surround Dr. David Gorski

Gorski is engaged in an outright cheating of disabled people out of millions of dollars. His style of blogging is winning favor with the pharmaceutical industrial complex and helps fund his wild experiments cross-prescribing drugs for the drug cartel. Gorski is online trashing alternative therapies that have worked, are working, and have been proven by real science-based medicine to have beneficial results beating and preventing cancer and WITHOUT ALL THE SIDE EFFECTS of modern conventional slash and burn chemicals and invasive, immune-destroying chemotherapy drugs that yield only 2.3% average success staving off cancer and that’s just for 5 years. Even if you die the next day, the CDC considers you a cancer survivor on their books that promote the toxic medicine propaganda. Gorski is trashing natural treatments for autism that he is using for breast cancer (he never mentions in his blogs that it’s used for autism). Again, he’s all over the place. Several years ago ORAC wrote this on his blog, describing himself so nobody would call him out, possibly knowing the day would come:

“Yes, in the case of a true ‘shill’ who does not reveal that he works for a pharmaceutical company and pretends to be ‘objective,’ it is quite appropriate to ‘out’ that person.”

At one point, Gorski brags about his Sanofi-Aventis drug therapy connections:

“If it passes clinical trials, it may well be a very useful drug for potentiating the effects of other cancer therapies, such as chemotherapy and radiation.”

It’s obvious Wayne State University is sponsoring ORAC’s clinical trial with Sanofi’s Riluzole drug money. He admits in his blog posts that if the drug fails in his clinical trial for breast cancer it would be a “major setback” for his research. (7)

As the vaccine debate intensifies and states like California vote for forced-inoculation per anything the CDC requires for all children to attend school, public or private, many concerned health enthusiasts, parents, and parents of vaccine-damaged children are having intense but HEALTHY discussions on line about their options for natural immunity and for opting out of vaccines entirely. Vaccine-industry propagandists are attacking in rebellion to this, spewing vicious commentary that is false and premeditated online to disrupt and dismantle anyone questioning the vaccine “religion” – which is really what it’s become (faith-based medicine with no scientific proof of safety or efficacy). The new book “Vaccine Epidemic” explains this in full. No parents should accept preventable diseases, severe allergies, asthma, and severe learning disorders as normal, especially when they come on just after vaccination and persist as long as vaccinations are persistently given, and that includes flu shots that contain mercury, aluminum and deadly pathogens. This is why flu shots are usually FREE, because they feed the chronic sick care system run by the CDC and the FDA (13) that hides natural remedies from the allopathic-fooled nation.

There is even the “Exposing Dr. David H. Gorski” Facebook Page

    https://www.facebook.com/ExposingDrDavidHGorskiAkaOrac (8)

Subtitle reads: “Exposing Dr. David H. Gorski, M.D., Ph.D. who believes he can use a cloak of anonymity and character assaults to discredit opposing views …”

One post describes ORAC saying “I’m a Pharma Funded Shill, supported by National Geographic.”

Another post says, “It is so refreshing to see this effort taking place. I have come across his work a couple times recently. He is absolutely horrible, as a person, a scientist, a physician, and worst of all, a writer.”

To read more of Gorski’s psycho and recent “anti-vaccine rally” rants on his science blog: check here: http://scienceblogs.com/insolence/2015/10/20/yet-another-antivaccine-rally-yet-another-yawn/

Pseudo-Science, Anti-Vaccine Fanatics and “Skeptics” – Gorski’s favorite buzz words

A skeptic is a person inclined to question or doubt accepted opinions or what seems rational and therefore accepted as the “norm.” The “skeptical public” in the eyes of biotechnology are the people who don’t understand how dangerous GMOs are, and so they are more likely to be brainwashed into believing they are good, useful, healthy and so forth, if presented with the right lingo, jargon and pro-GMO propaganda, sort of the way Adolf Hitler convinced millions of people he was a legitimate ruler with a legitimate mission, though he was a complete psychopath, plus the skeptics were too afraid to speak up. Propaganda feeds off of fear–that is its fuel.

Also, Dr. Gorski is huckster. A huckster is someone who cheers along what they know is a scam, for part of the “cut.” The bigger the scam and the better the con and the huckster work together, the more clients they get and the better the score. Enter PR firms, sellout journalists, poser public scientists and shill (ex) TV producers who cheer along Monsanto and Merck, selling pesticide-laden seeds and toxic vaccines for the whole country to “consume” – leading them straight to the hospitals for chronic symptom sick care, another “skeptic” investment in their own demise.

The shills of the vaccine and biotech industries love buzz words, like sustainability (even though in the right context means the world). Shills like David Gorski, Paul Offit, Jon Entine (11) and University of Florida’s Dr. Kevin Folta (10) –the steal and contort and distort the popular diction of the clean food movement and mix in into their repertoire to sound studied, intelligent and sincere, yet they represent the exact opposite of those character traits and efforts, as they purport lies and push propaganda as if it were their own, just for money and positions of influence in the Big Food Bad Medicine world for which they shill. The complete compilation of ORAC idiocy and arrogance

You can usually find insane rants like the following under “Respectful Insolence” (Gorski’s cheesy catch phrase) blog: Warning: this is written by a surgical oncologist:

Of course, Rational Wiki tries to make the crazy Gorski prolific:

“Respectful Insolence is a blog by a breast oncology surgeon and researcher which focuses on medical issues in woo and pseudoscience as well as cutting edge research in the author’s field.”

They stand up their “straw man” of “vaccine hysteria” and their made up “mercury militia” – as if humans who don’t like injecting one of the world’s most deadly toxins in their blood and tissue as complete wack-jobs who still think the world is flat and that no man has landed on the moon yet. There are yet more psycho-rants on his “Orac Knows” blogspot (http://oracknows.blogspot.com/). Under the page header “About Me” Gorski self-describes with delusions of grandeur. His profile is offered: https://www.blogger.com/profile/01370846202152605202.

Gorski is also widely regarded as an outspoken pseudoskeptic of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) and was the first individual to be described as a believer of Narcisscientism. Gorski has a reputation for having an overzealous resentment towards anything outside of the definition of “Science”.  He speaks in nasty tones, mocking and demeaning others on subjects that he literally has no experience in.  He relies on his understanding of “science” and his skeptic analysis to come to his conclusions.

His main focus is giving lectures about “Quackery” and the “infiltration” of Integrative medicine into mainstream medicine as well as the need to publicly attack individuals and organizations he doesn’t agree with by way of his blog at ScienceBlogs.com.  He blogged for several years under the pseudonym “Orac” (an acronym for an online programming language and the name of a wayward computer in an old BBC sci-fi series) and then eventually revealed himself after it was uncovered back in 2005 by Ashleigh Anderson.

Gorski has a very long history of self aggrandizement by dishing out what he calls his “dose of my characteristic and inimitable not-so-Respectful Insolence™” This is actually “public character assassination to entertain the skeptic community”

David Gorski has active medical licenses in

    Michigan – ID # 4301091449, Active, Issued 01/28/2008 Exp. 01/31/2018

    Ohio ID# 35.060908 (Active) Issued 11/29/1990 Exp. 01/0/2017

Here are some examples of his history and activity to learn more about him:

    • David Gorski has undisclosed financial ties to the vaccine industry.
    • He inadvertently admitted that vaccines can cause autism
    • When publicly confronted by Jake Crosby about autism in person, David Gorski made a very amusing and awkward attempt to evade the questions. You can see this here
    • A defecting blogger from the website that he is the Managing Editor of stated “ScienceBlogs is now ZombieBlogs, the undead, a heartless and soulless brain-eating monster that once was a beautiful living ideal.”
    • Gorski has claimed that a vaccinated vs. unvaccinated study would be unethical – never mind the fact that the vaccine schedule as a whole has never been studied for long-term health outcomes.
    • He has no real knowledge about GMOs as is evident from a lecture when he was asked why he defends food derived from Genetically-Modified Organisms (GMOs), noting the lack of safety data in humans. Gorski’s answer was: “All foods are genetically modified.”
    • He has been caught lying in an attack piece he wrote about Sharyl Attkisson
    • Immediately writes of Naturopathic medicine as a cornucopia of quackery
    • Objects to chiropractic and went as far as saying a girl who went to a chiropractor and died might qualify her for the Darwin Award
